I’m returning back to my feminine style roots in today’s look. With bridal showers and rehearsal dinners (for friends) as well as springy meetings left and right, I’m craving outfits that are professional, polished and plain old pretty. This look certainly fits the bill.
All the clothing in this look is under $45! The jacket is $35 and the skirt is $44 and the top is $34. Both the top and the skirt are the most comfortable pieces from Mika Rose. Typically, I change when I get done with “work” for the day into workout clothes even though I typically don’t go to the gym until later at night. But I stayed in this skirt and top until right before I went to workout because is was so soft and easy to wear. Not to mention, the silhouette and the shape of these pieces are very forgiving (insert hand clapping emoji here).
What I love about Mika Rose is that all of their pieces are pretty and modest. Truth be told, I’m a pretty modest dresser. I like my style to shine through rather than an excess of skin (if you know what I mean). I feel like it’s the easiest way to be sophisticated and chic. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again – it’s very hard to look fashionable (and classy) when you are showing a lot of skin. Hence why I cover up most of the time (oh, did I mention my love for layers?!).
