We arrived back in Seattle late on Saturday night and were welcomed with the most beautiful 91 degree day! This called for a fun and slightly flirty outfit for perusing the market, picking up some peonies and drinking apple juice slushies (quite possibly the best thing ever on a hot day). I paired a simple $12 tee and these split shorts (that I got last summer) for a patterned and bold look that screamed summer. Add some leg-lengthening sandals and it was a super easy day off and date day outfit. And of course, we documented every happy part of our day – and my outfit – on Springpop.
I’m typically very resistant to new technology and apps. I know what you are thinking, “but Brenna, you are a blogger!” I know, I know. I was probably the last person on my University to get Twitter. Because if it doesn’t give me instant satisfaction or happiness, I give up on it quickly. But Springpop is different. It’s simply a happy, positive app that makes sharing whatever brightens your day easy and clutter-free. Simply put, it is an awesome platform for sharing a few of my favorite summer activities like picking up peonies and apple juice from the local farmer’s market, or my date-night outfit inspiration!
You can search and follow themes that are applicable to your lifestyle and spark your interest. They have self-curated accounts with such great content. For example, in fashion they have “Wear Me” and “Under $100” which are always great inspiration.
But they also have health, lifestyle, fitness, beauty and business – so it’s perfect for all you lady bosses out there.
I use it to easily share outfit details and shopping information about my looks. I just am obsessed with how bright and poppy the platform is and it’s really free for negativity, which is such a refreshing benefit compared to other social media.
