Last week was a complete and utter whirlwind that involved us jetting off to NYFW for a few days. I was so happy that Zach was able to tag along and that the Liviara team made coming to New York possible and inviting me to come to their debut show.

I wanted to find a look that was sleek yet practical for walking around the city, so I could transition effortlessly from exploring the city to sitting front row. The key to accomplishing that was surprisingly affordable and came in form of this $20 romper. I actually make-shift tailored this to fit better (for those of you wondering about fit, I wore an XS and it was a bit big in the waist). I actually popped off a button and fastened it in a wrap style with a Chanel brooch and loved the way it looked.

I also found a middle ground between me and the chocker trend. I love the way it looks on Instagram, but what I’ve seen in real life made me question my love for this middle school flashback trend. I found this chocker for $18 on Etsy and had it overnighted so I could wear it in NYC. It was such a sleek take on a trend that can come off as quite juvenile.

Find the whole NYC guide (including tons of vegan eats) here.
